This notice explains what personal data Risk Care Hospital & ICCU Pvt Ltd, 1st Floor, Shirin Co-op. Soc. Ltd., LBS Road, Near Makhmali Talao, Thane West, Maharashtra, 400601 ("we") collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It covers this website only; information you give us in person is covered by the forms you sign there.
What we collect
What you type into the appointment request form:
- your name and mobile number (required);
- the speciality, day and time you would prefer, how you heard about us, and any note you add (all optional).
The form deliberately has no fields for symptoms, medical history or identity documents, and asks you not to put them in the note. Please tell the doctor in person.
Like every website, the servers that deliver it — our web hosting provider and its content delivery network — automatically record technical details of each visit, such as your internet address, browser type and the pages requested. These records are used to deliver the website and protect it from attacks, not to identify you.
If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your number and your message on the hospital's WhatsApp account and use them only to reply to you.
Browsing the website does not require you to give us anything. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
Why we use it
Only to respond to your request: to call you back and arrange the appointment. You give us these details voluntarily for that purpose, which the Act treats as a legitimate use. We do not use them for marketing and we do not sell them. The only others who handle them are the services that run this website and our email, described below.
Where it goes and how long we keep it
The website does not store your request. It is sent by email to our appointments inbox, which is provided by Google (Gmail) and deleted from the website's memory at once.
We keep a request only as long as we need it to arrange your appointment or to meet a legal obligation.
To stop automated spam, the website briefly records a code made from your internet address with a secret key held on our server. The code cannot be turned back into the address without that key, and is discarded after ten minutes.
Cookies and other services on this website
This website sets no cookies for visitors. Cookies are used only when our own staff sign in to manage the site.
- The map on our pages is provided by Google Maps. When it loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your internet address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.
- The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, a service of Meta. Anything you send there is governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
If we ever add analytics or similar tools, we will ask for your consent before they run, and update this notice.
Your rights
Under the Act you can ask us:
- what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it;
- to correct, complete or update it;
- to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- to nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to;
- to resolve a complaint about how we have handled your data.
If you are booking for a child under 18, or for a person who cannot decide for themselves, please make the request as their parent or lawful guardian.

Write or call with any request or complaint about your personal data. We will acknowledge it and respond within the period the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

We will update this page if what the website collects or how we use it changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
